At Celtic Manor we handle our puppies from
birth and they are raised in the bedroom. Temperament behavior molding
starts in the whelping box that is why puppies are raised in a loving,
warm environment. All puppies are temperament tested at 7 weeks old in
an attempt to help us match the potential buyer’s personality and
individual situation with the best puppy for them.
When available, puppies
go to carefully screened buyers and sold with a pet contract under
limited registration with the AKC unless selected for showing and
breeding. Puppies being placed into a pet home must be spayed or
neutered by 9 months of age.
All puppies are vet
checked, receive their first shots and go home with a package that
includes: a current health certificate, health records, a bag of their
food, a five-generation pedigree, AKC registration papers and come with
a 2-year written genetic health guarantee of replacement for crippling
genetic health conditions. Your puppy should be seen by your
veterinarian within the first three days of arrival. If your
veterinarian finds the puppy to have a health problem (congenital
defects) the puppy will be returned to the breeder. A written statement
from your licensed veterinarian needs to accompany the returning puppy.
We will give a full refund on the puppy. We, the breeder, are not
responsible for any veterinarian bill acquired by the buyer.
Potential buyers must be
able to provide a good home and have the knowledge, ability and
facilities to properly care for the puppy. We offer support and
encourage all new owners to stay in touch with us and call us with
questions or concerns.
Genetic Testing and
certification is done on all of our show and breeding dogs. These
include Hips, eyes, skin, thyroid, DNA for VWD and blood work. With our
very careful and selective breeding and testing we hope to avoid passing
on genetic problems.
If at any time after You,
the buyer, take a Farleys D puppy to live with you and your life
circumstances change and the puppy no longer fits in, we like to be the
first to know so that we can find another suitable home for the puppy.
No refunds would be provided and all expenses would be the buyers
responsibilities in returning the puppy. |
